Exploring the cultural origins of Urban Dance!

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our 1st Annual Urban Dance Rootz Workshop on July 13-14th, 2013!! Participants explored the ‘roots’ of Hip Hop/Urban dance through a variety of cultural dance classes in Capoeira, African, Salsa and Afro-Brazilian then applied the movements and rhythms into various street dances including Hip Hop, Breakin’, Krump, Dancehall, Funk and House! Super legit experience and good times all around! We most definitely hope to run the event again in 2014!
