Semester 1: September 11th- December 14th, 2023
Semester 2: January 8th- May 9th, 2024

Holidays: We will not have classes on Thanksgiving, February Break, or Easter Break. The studio will be closed during our Christmas break from December 18th – January 7th.

Show Dates (Recitals): Christmas Boogaloo Showcase is confirmed for Saturday, December 16th, 2023. Our tentative date for the ‘Street Stylez’ Year End Showcase is May 11th, 2024. Full details will be confirmed in the new year. Please ensure these are marked in your calendar!

Competition Dates: All competitive dancers must be available for two local competitions! Spring Stars (Saskatoon)- March 19-23, 2024; Block Party (Saskatoon) April 9-13th. One out of town event may be added in April/May 2024 pending group interest. Will be discussed and confirmed in the fall once classes start.

Extra Practices: To help prepare for the showcases, select groups may be scheduled for extra rehearsals between December 1-December 15th (before the Christmas Show) and between April 26- May 10th (before the Year End Show). This is decided by the instructor/director based on group readiness. Competitive teams will also have 1-2 extra practices scheduled between March 24-27 & March 31- April 3. Please ensure you block these dates off and wait for the detailed rehearsal schedule.

CLASS TUITION & FEES

Once you submit your registration form, you will receive an invoice for the following:

Tuition Fee – $60-80/month depending on the class length and level. This cost includes your weekly class time, and any extra practices. Visit our CLASSES page to view class pricing. It can be paid in full OR monthly via post-dated cheque or credit card. Please note that even though there are not as many classes in December or May, the monthly instalment cheques are the same as they are divided from the total tuition cost and include all extra practices, rehearsals etc.

Registration Fee – $30.00 per student or max $50.00 per family (if you are in more than one group, you only pay this once). This fee must be paid by September 1st. This cost includes all administration costs associated with the school.

Costume Fees – We ask for an instalment or “deposit” to go towards your costume fees. $100/group per semester for Competitive teams and $75/group per semester for non-competitive groups. The remainder of fees will be due before each performance.  For example, if you are in a 9 month group, you pay $75 on September 1st and $75 on January 1st as you have two different shows/costumes. In the rare event of increases to costume/shipping costs etc., any extra fees will be billed to you before the show dates.

Competition Fees – Competitive groups will be required to pay entry fees for up to 2-3 competitions. Fees will be invoiced in the fall and are due by December 1, 2023. Group rates typically range from $30-40/group per event (higher for solos/duos).
