DEF SOL COVID UPDATES (MARCH 2022):
*These updates will go into effect for all def SOL classes, workshops and events starting on March 1st, 2022. We will continue to assess the situation each week, adapt as needed and follow all recommended provincial health and safety measures.
▪️Hand sanitizer before entering the studio remains in place.
▪️Class sizes will remain capped at 10-12 students to avoid any over-crowding.
▪️Physical distancing before, during and after class is still required. Dancers must always respect each other’s personal space and various levels of comfort.
▪️Please do not come into our classes or events if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms. If we notice you are sick, you will be asked to leave.
▪️Proof of Vaccine will not be required to attend classes or events.
MASKING: Beginning February 28, masks will no longer be required in indoor public settings in Saskatchewan. As such, we will remove mask requirements for class participation. We still strongly encourage the use of masks especially in the hall, lounge or any area where physical distancing is not possible. We suspect many will continue to use them while in class and at events to help protect themselves and others- we support and respect everyone’s individual decision.
DROP OFFS & PICKUPS: We ask that students continue to be dropped off for their classes at the side entrance. Parents, guardians and siblings are still not permitted in the studio. Parents of children 6yrs and under can come in the entrance but must leave as soon as their child is delivered to the instructor/class assistant. In these cases we ask that only one family member enter with their dancer.
RESPECT: As the province shifts to personal responsibility to address the pandemic, we trust that everyone will respect the choices of others regarding mask use. Please remember to treat everybody with kindness and respect regardless of what they have chosen for themselves and their children.
