STYLEZ 101 Program- Intro to Urban Dance
Our Stylez 101 Program is the perfect ‘introduction’ or ‘refresher’ to urban dance providing you with the basic movements, rhythms, technique and terminology in ‘Street’ Styles (Hip Hop, Krump, BBoying, Steppin’); ‘Club’ Styles (Dancehall, House, Diva) and ‘Funk’ Styles (Popping, Locking, Animation). Recommended Level: 0-2 years of experience in Hip Hop/ Urban Dance styles.
Note: For those that have already taken one of our Stylez 101 classes, we guarantee an exciting new experience each session- with so many Styles to explore within the urban dance genre there is always something new to learn. We recommended that participants train in the Stylez 101 program full time for a minimum of 1 year in order to gain a solid understanding of the basic urban dance foundations. When you feel you are ready for a greater challenge, try our Performance Classes!

First Day of Session 2- Monday, November 3rd from 5:30-7:30PM at River City School of Irish Dance (B4- 3501 8th Street East). For students under the age of 18yrs- you must have a parent/guardian with you to sign our waiver form prior to participation.
